Cosmetic Alchemy is a mixing medium that, when combined with loose pigments eyeshadows, creates a foiled effect, increasing both their intensity and staying power. You can also use it to transform mineral eyeshadow into liquid eyeliner.
To use, shake well and then just add a drop or two to a little bit of pigment and mix until it takes on a thin, paste-like consistency. Apply for a shiny, intensified effect. For liner, apply with an angled brush.
Cosmetic Alchemy comes packaged in a 10ml plastic dropper bottle; a 3 gram mixing pod is also included for your convenience.
Ingredients: distilled water, vegetable glycerin, phenoxyethanol, caprylyl glycol, potassium sorbate, and hexylene glycol.

I had zero idea how to use this when it came in my starter kit. I was sure I would never have any use for it, but I gave it a try today. I scooped up a bit of the Bathory eyeshadow on the end of my angled brush, put in a drop of this stuff and -viola- metallic red liquid eyeliner. I have sparkly red winged eyeliner right now and it is so awesome I might die. I cannot wait to experiment more.
This is my favorite way to foil shadows. I use it most often to create custom eyeliners, but works great with lid applications and brows too. It's inexpensive and one bottle lasted me a year! The dropper bottle is wonderful at controlling how much is used and the bottle still works the same after a year (no cracking or leaking).
One of the first things purchased and I have used it many times. I love using this to make loose shadows into eyeliner. I love that a mixing pod is included and need to snag a few spares! This is cheap and lasts forever. It may not cost a lot, but it's definitely a great working product!
